None of my Children Will Serve Ghana Without Investigation into my Husband's Death - Late John Kumah’s wife

Apostle Lilian Kumah, the wife of the late Deputy Finance Minister John Kumah, has made a resolute declaration that none of her children will serve the country unless thorough investigations are conducted into the circumstances surrounding her husband's death.

Speaking out against claims made by Blessed Godsbrain Smart, also known as Captain Smart, alleging that her husband died from food poisoning, Mrs. Kumah emphasized the need for justice to prevail.

In an interview with Accra-based Asaase Radio, Mrs. Kumah expressed her dismay, stating, "It is very disappointing. How can a man who dedicated his life to serving the nation have his reputation tarnished by baseless speculations under the guise of journalism? If someone claims to have facts, why hasn't action been taken?"

Mrs. Kumah urged President Akufo-Addo to launch a thorough investigation into the alleged poisoning of her late husband, emphasizing the importance of uncovering the truth. She called on Captain Smart to provide concrete evidence to support his claims and assist in identifying those responsible for her husband's death.

Recounting her late husband's illness and medical treatment in Germany, Mrs. Kumah clarified that she was never informed of any poisoning-related diagnosis. She emphasized her commitment to seeking justice and uncovering the truth behind John Kumah's passing.

"My husband endured pain without complaint, always prioritizing duty over convenience. I have medical reports from both Germany and Ghana, none of which mention food poisoning. I know what took my husband's life, and I seek clarity on any other claims," Mrs. Kumah affirmed.

As she continues to seek answers and closure, Mrs. Kumah remains steadfast in her quest for justice and transparency regarding her late husband's untimely demise.
