AFCON 2023: Ghana Still Has Slim Chances Despite 2 - 2 Draw With Mozambique

Ghana's Africa Cup of Nations journey is in jeopardy following a nail-biting 2-2 draw with Mozambique in their last Group B game. The Black Stars, who had appeared to be in control for most of the match, saw their lead slip away in the final minutes, leaving them with only 2 points from three games.

With this result, Ghana currently sits in 3rd place in Group B, trailing behind Cape Verde and Egypt. As it stands, Ghana is vying for one of the two remaining spots with Algeria, Zambia, and Cameroon. For Ghana to advance, Zambia must lose to Morocco, Algeria must also lose to Tanzania, and Cameroon must not defeat The Gambia. Additionally, one of Algeria or Zambia must lose by at least a two-goal margin to improve Ghana's goal difference.
