AFCON 2023: Black Stars Draw 2-2 Against Egypt With All 2 Goals From Mohammed Kudus

Ghana's Black Stars lost 2-2 to Egypt in their second group match at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) after twice letting leads go.

In the first half, neither team posed much of a danger, and Egypt controlled the ball. owing to Mohamed Salah's withdrawal from Liverpool owing to a possible hamstring injury, Egypt's coach Rui Vitoria had to make a first-half substitute.

Kudus, who was given the ball by Salis Abdul Samed, broke the tie with an incredible curling shot to give Ghana the advantage. Despite the disallowed goal and the vital stop made by goalkeeper Richard Ofori, Egypt equalized through Marmoush, who took advantage of an Inaki Williams defensive blunder.
