Following their defeat to Cape Verde in the opening match, the Black Stars are gearing up to face the Pharaohs, aiming to make a strong comeback in the tournament.

Kudus was absent from the game against Cape Verde as he was still recovering from a minor injury sustained while on international duty. Asante Twum explained during an interview on Joy News' PM Express that Kudus had been following a personalized training regimen with the physiotherapists, but he has now progressed to full team training.

Asante Twum stated, "Today [Monday], he trained with the rest of the squad. He stayed in the group training for the whole period. The medical team is still assessing him. He is back in full team training, and I am sure by Wednesday or Thursday, he will be fine for that match."
