During an interview with the Ghana News Agency, Mr. Ebenezer Asamoah, the community's spokesperson, revealed that estate developers had enlisted armed land guards to roam the area, wielding dangerous weapons and destroying residents' farmlands. Asamoah disclosed that approximately 20 acres of farmlands, bearing essential crops like cassava, plantains, cocoyam, and palm nut trees, had fallen victim to these destructive actions.

Moreover, the developers had encroached on demarcated land intended for crucial community projects, including schools, markets, and other developmental initiatives. Asamoah emphasized that the presence of armed individuals and their nighttime shootings had instilled fear in the community, hindering women from tending to their farms and children from attending school.
