KSM emphasized that worshiping God does not require grand structures, as the most important place of worship is within one's heart. He questioned the necessity of building a national cathedral, stating that Ghana's prosperity should not be measured by the size of its religious buildings.

According to KSM, God's blessings are not contingent on the construction of a cathedral, but rather on the provision of essential social services to the people. He advocated for investments in healthcare facilities to ensure mothers have proper birthing conditions and to address issues such as child malnutrition.

Expressing skepticism about the belief that constructing an expensive cathedral would bring divine blessings, KSM underscored the importance of prioritizing practical initiatives that directly benefit the population.
