In his recent State of the Nation Address on February 27, President Akufo-Addo reiterated his commitment to ensuring a transparent and equitable electoral process in the upcoming December polls. He assured Ghanaians that the elections would be conducted with the highest standards of fairness and integrity.

The President emphasized the preparedness of security agencies to swiftly address any attempts to disrupt the peace during the electoral period. President Akufo-Addo affirmed his dedication to upholding free, fair, and peaceful elections, stating, "I will do everything possible to ensure free, fair, and peaceful elections. The security agencies are well-prepared to deal with anyone or groups of persons who intend to cause any havoc."
