Owner of Jirapa Dubai, Royal Cosy Hills Hotel Murdered


The Upper West Region has been shaken by the saddening news of the passing of Mr. Eric Johnson, the renowned owner of the Royal Cosy Hills Hotel, fondly nicknamed Jirapa Dubai. 

Reports indicate that Mr. Johnson was a victim of a fatal attack by unknown assailants on Sunday, February 11, marking a tragic turn of events for the entrepreneur and hospitality visionary.

Journalist Mornah Banung-kae Kennedy took to social media to confirm the incident, expressing deep sorrow over the unfortunate loss. The community and region mourn the untimely demise of Mr. Johnson, lamenting the circumstances surrounding his tragic end.


Mr. Eric Johnson, as the CEO of the Royal Cosy Hill Hotel and Resort, symbolized innovation and community development in the region. Following the heinous crime, the Ghana Police Service swiftly responded, apprehending five suspects, including Dookuuri Fausta, Braimah Kasim, Beyuo Felix, and Michael Klugey, all employees at the Royal Cosy Hills Hotel. The ongoing investigation aims to bring justice for Mr. Johnson and ensure that all perpetrators are held accountable for their actions.
