New Finance Minister Reaffirms Ghana's Commitment to IMF Programme
The government has pledged to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) that it will remain committed to the continuing program, according to Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam, the newly appointed Minister of Finance.
Dr. Amin Adam, who succeeded Ken Ofori-Atta, underlined his dedication to snapping up tax reduction policies across the nation.

During a Thursday, February 15, interview, Dr. Amin Adam said, "There were a lot of pro-poor initiatives in the budget that was presented this year, and I do not plan to go away from those pro-poor initiatives." Furthermore, I will see to it that everything proceeds as it ought to. We will make sure that we move faster to implement the tax reliefs that were made in the budget, and I am going to make sure the poor are insulated."
