NPP Parliamentary Primaries: List of MPs Who Lost Their Bid

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) recently concluded its highly anticipated parliamentary primaries, marked by significant outcomes and unexpected results. Much like any electoral process, this event witnessed both prominent incumbents retaining their candidacies and surprising defeats for others.

During the primaries, a number of incumbent Members of Parliament, including notable figures such as the Sanitation Minister, Freda Prempeh, the Minister for Public Enterprises, Joseph Cudjoe, and MP for Dome Kwabenya, Sarah Adwoa Safo, faced unsuccessful bids to secure their candidacies for the upcoming 2024 general elections.
