Boston Declares March 2 as "Burna Boy Day"


March 2nd has been formally declared as "Burna Boy Day" by the City of Boston, Massachusetts in the United States of America (USA) in honor of the well-known Nigerian artist. 

The Boston City Council issued the proclamation in a formal statement that was signed by Councilwoman Ruthzee Louijeune.

The statement recognized Burna Boy's significant contributions to advocacy work and music, especially in raising the voices of underrepresented groups and fighting for their rights and recognition.
