Vision for Okada and Agricultural Revitalization

During his address, Mr. Mahama also shed light on the economic challenges faced by the youth and the inadequacies of the current administration in providing meaningful employment opportunities. He stood firm on his intention to implement a comprehensive system aimed at registering, licensing, and regulating Okada riders to ensure smooth operation and secure guidelines within the industry.

Additionally, Mr. Mahama underlined the significance of fortifying the agricultural sector, envisioning the establishment of a farmer's cooperative to tackle farmers' struggles in acquiring essential agricultural supplies. He detailed the plan to equip each district with a farmer service center, providing crucial equipment and support for farmers to enhance agricultural productivity.

Engagements and Grassroots Outreach

Throughout his two-day campaign tour, Mr. Mahama engaged with regional stakeholders and communities, fostering direct interaction with professionals, students, clergy, and local farmers across multiple locations in the Eastern Region. His approach included meeting party executives, transport unions, traders, and chiefs, reflecting a strong commitment to engaging with grassroots perspectives and party unity.
