As part of the Voluntary Humanitarian Return (VHR) initiative for 2023, the Embassy and IOM worked together once more in October to ensure the safe return of the fourth group of 169 Ghanaians from Tripoli to Accra.
This was another example of the sustained efforts to support Ghanaians who are experiencing hardship. Additionally, as part of the same program, a third group of 134 Ghanaians were voluntarily returned to Ghana on October 10, 2023, from Misrata.
