Government Will Force EC to Disqualify Alan and Cheddar from Presidential Election - Political Strategist

Political strategist William Owusu Ansah has claimed that there is a scheme underway to disqualify Alan Kyerematen, the leader and founder of the Movement for Change, from running in the presidential election. Ansah suggested that the government is aiming to leverage the Electoral Commission to disqualify Kyerematen, as he poses a threat to the government's agenda.

Speaking on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5 FM, Ansah also asserted that Nana Kwame Bediako, known as Cheddar and founder of 'New Force', is also targeted for disqualification. He alleged that the government is orchestrating this plan through the electoral body.

"Alan Kyerematen's hopes of contesting are futile. He will face disqualification. Both he and Cheddar will be excluded. The real competition is between Mahama and Bawumia," Ansah declared.

He warned that the upcoming 2024 election will not be smooth sailing, with unprecedented events expected. Ansah hinted at significant developments during the election process in Ghana, citing the recent decision by the Electoral Commission to shift the close of polls from 5 p.m. to 3 p.m. as part of a larger strategy in play.
