Renowned gospel artiste, Sonnie Badu, has taken to Facebook to advocate for the appointment of French trainer, Hervé Renard, as the coach of Ghana's senior national team, the Black Stars. 

Expressing his confidence in the former French player, Badu emphasized that the country should spare no expense in securing Renard's services, suggesting an unwavering belief in the coach's potential to elevate the team's performance.

"I want this man (Hervé Renard) to coach the Black Stars. Pay him whatever he charges," wrote Sonnie Badu.

This call from Sonnie Badu surfaces during a period of widespread disappointment among supporters, who have expressed frustration over the Black Stars' underwhelming display in their initial AFCON game versus Cape Verde. The team's lackluster performance subsequently triggered a wave of criticism and demands for a change in coaching leadership.
