Housing Minister Took US$20K Bribe During His Tenure as Deputy Chief of Staff - Kennedy Agyapong
In a recent address to NPP delegates in Bantama, Assin Central Member of Parliament, Kennedy Agyapong, made startling allegations against Francis Asenso-Boakye, the current Minister of Housing and member of Parliament for Bantama.
Agyapong didn't hold back, accusing Asenso-Boakye of corrupt practices, including embezzlement of funds within the housing ministry and accepting bribes during his tenure as the deputy Chief of Staff.
Agyapong's accusations didn't stop there. He also claimed that Asenso-Boakye was leveraging his position to influence the outcome of the flagbearership race and warned that electing Asenso-Boakye in the NPP parliamentary primaries would lead to the revelation of further incriminating information.

These accusations have further intensified the existing political tension within the NPP, with Agyapong actively campaigning for his brother, Ralph Opoku Agyapong, who is contesting against Asenso-Boakye in the upcoming parliamentary primaries.
