Politicizing Anti-LGBTQ Bill Will Slow Down The Process - Majority To Minority

Kwame Anyimadu-Antwi, the Chairman of the Constitutional, Legal, and Parliamentary Affairs in Parliament, has cautioned the Minority to exercise caution in their criticism of the processes related to the passage of the Proper Human Sexual Rights and Ghanaian Family Values Bill. Expressing his concerns to journalists in Parliament, the Asante-Akim Central MP emphasized the pivotal need to avoid casting insinuations and politicizing the proposed legislation, asserting that resorting to such actions could adversely impact the entire process.

Mr. Anyimadu-Antwi stressed the importance of depoliticizing the discourse around the bill, urging stakeholders to refrain from associating the proposed legislation with partisan colors. This cautionary sentiment comes on the heels of their growing furiousness over the perceived lack of progress on the bill, which has been stuck at the consideration stage for an extended period.
