Renowned gospel musician Diana Asamoah recently revealed that influences from early religious leaders, including the late prophet Emmanuel Kwaku Apraku, commonly known as 'Apraku My Daughter,' and other preachers, significantly impacted her fashion sense. In a candid interview on Joy Prime's Prime Morning show, Asamoah explained how certain doctrines during her formative Christian years shaped her fashion choices.

During her discussion with host Roselyn Felli, Asamoah recounted being exposed to false doctrines, particularly from Apraku My Daughter, who propagated beliefs that instilled fear in her regarding certain fashion practices. She mentioned Apraku's assertion that beauty products were related to spiritual entities such as 'Maame Water' (Marine spirits) and that using such products would impede one's entry into heaven.

However, she also recounted encounters with Pastor Ato Haggan, whose teachings provided her with a deeper understanding of such issues and helped reshape her perspective.
